These houses in Los Angeles are Ava Fabian Archivesso pink the entire internet seems to have noticed. Everything from the walkway to the hedges to the trash bins are bright pink.

Neighbors are not pleased with the stunt and the "noise" they are attracting. Everyone wants to pose with the absurdly pink structures, as you can tell by browsing photos on Instagram tagged with #pinkhouses.

The artist -- who goes by The Most Famous Artist, or Matty Mo to his friends, according to the New York Times-- was hired by M-Rad, the architecture firm behind the new 45-unit building that's coming to the lot in the Mid-City neighborhood.
Most Famous himself has been posting on his Instagram about the pink project. He called the houses, "a jumping off point for a conversation about community, development, public art, and social media."

Neighborhood groups have asked for a more "subdued color" for the houses, according to Curbed LA. Others said there was no warning about the project and that the houses are a blight on the neighborhood even without the pink paint, thanks to their overgrown yards.
But the pop of pink in the neighborhood could get scrubbed soon, with a more subtle paint job expected soon. Instagrammers have noticed time is running out and are coming fast and furious for that perfect pink selfie.
