Leading Chinese drone technology firm, xxx tv show Hubsan, debuted its new drone, the Black Hawk 1, last night. Priced at RMB 1,699 ($262), the drone is positioned as “the pinnacle of cost-effectiveness.” Boasting a sleek minimalistic black design, the Black Hawk 1 features a single camera and utilizes Hubsan’s innovative Syncleas 2.0 digital transmission system, which supports 4G and is said to transmit video up to 9 kilometers. The drone integrates a 1/2.6-inch 12MP image sensor, capable of supporting up to 4K 30fps shooting, and is outfitted with a “three-axis mechanical stabilization gimbal.” It boasts a relatively extended flight time; 37 minutes for slow flight and 33 minutes of hover time, powered by two 3200mAh lithium batteries that are included as standard. Additionally, Hubsan is offering customers two replacement rights within the first year of purchase, which includes one opportunity to replace a lost drone. The Black Hawk 1 is officially listed on the company’s website but is currently not available for sale. [IThome, in Chinese]
