Hot take: NFL fans absolutely loathe commissioner Roger Goodell.
They confirmed that sentiment after the New England Patriots' insane Super Bowl win on Secret Confessions (2025) Week 8 Highlights Episode 46Sunday. While Goodell presented the Lombardi Trophy to Patriots owner Robert Kraft, fans in Houston unleashed a chorus of boos.

Fans have criticized Goodell for a myriad of hot-button issues, including his domestic violence policies, his player safety claims and — most appropriately for Sunday evening — his handling of the Patriots "deflategate" scandal. Goodell suspended Tom Brady for four games after the Patriots intentionally under-inflated footballs during the 2014-15 playoffs, sparking a heated debate on the extent of Goodell's powers.
You can bet a contingent of Patriots fans led that choir of boos after the Super Bowl. But it hardly matters anymore.
Once again, the Patriots are Super Bowl champions.
