Jin Yuzhi,Seventeen (2019) the president of Huawei’s optical product line will take over the position of CEO of Huawei’s Intelligent Automotive Solution (IAS) business unit from Yu Chengdong, a Sept. 21 report by Jiemian said. An individual familiar with the matter said that Yu will become the chairman of the IAS unit after the transfer. The change does not imply a reduction in Yu’s responsibilities as Huawei’s IAS unit is set to expand within the year, according to the report. Jin Yuzhi is a candidate for the company’s board of directors and has long led Huawei’s optical fiber business.
