A former employee of the company told Yicai that the layoffs in China are part of global layoffs at Johnson & Johnson. When a spokesperson at Johnson & Johnson China was reached for confirmation by Yicai, they did not deny the news but said, “There is no additional information to share.” Johnson & Johnson currently operates a factory in Suzhou, China, which produces a range of products, such as surgical and orthopedic items.
