PlayStation 4 owners are Adultery Alumni Association (2018)getting a brand new feature: Tournaments.
In partnership with esports tournament organizer ESL, Sony is integrating structured, competitive gaming right into the PS4 dashboard with Tournaments, allowing players to easily enter tournaments and compete in multiplayer games, starting with NBA 2K17on Thursday. The new feature can be found under Events on the dashboard.

To enter into different tournaments, players need to own the game and have a PlayStation Plus account. Mortal Kombat X, Project Cars, Maddenand World Rally Championship 5 are some of the games that will be getting the Tournaments treatment.

The initial rollout looks like it's just the tip of the iceberg -- ESL Technology Managing Director Marcel Menge said in an statement that the organization plans on putting on a crazy amount of tournaments.
"We’re going to host hundreds of weekly tournaments for players from any corner of the world," he said. "Anyone who wants to try their hand at competitive gaming can now easily do so across a wide variety of titles."
Tournaments will support 15 different languages, allowing PS4 players from around the globe to participate in the new competitive feature. Games supported by Tournaments are subject to change and can differ by region.
ESL is one of the biggest esports tournament organizations in the world, hosting some huge events like ESL One Counter-Striketournaments, the first international Overwatchtournament and dozens of smaller weekly online tournaments.
