A Thai coffee chain that shares an almost identical logo with China’s Luckin Coffee is cleopatra eroticismreportedly claiming 10 billion Thai baht ($2.86 billion) as a financial loss from the latter, according to Chinese media outlets quoting Thai reports. 50R Group, a Thai company that operates Luckin’s Thai version, noted in the indictment that Luckin had “repeatedly compelled the plaintiff to cease using the trademark and forcibly seized its property” before the court made a final judgment on Luckin’s accused “fake” Thai stores on Dec. 1. Luckin, on Wednesday, posted on its official Weibo account, saying the claim has “yet to be verified,” and added it’s really shocked about how the lawsuit is progressing.
