Chinese smartphone maker Oppo,Watch Captain Hooker and Peter Porn (1987) known for numerous attempts to get rid of the notch once and for all, has a new idea: a slanted pop-up selfie camera.
As seen in a series of leaks (including a video) posted by SlashLeaks, instead of hosting the selfie camera in a rectangular little pop-up box, the Reno's selfie camera and flash are placed in a longer slab of plastic that rises from the right side only.

The advantages of this approach are unclear at this point, but it looks... cool? Maybe?
SlashLeaks also shared an image on Twitter of the phone wearing a case.
Other than the slanted pop-up selfie camera, the Reno has a dual camera on the back and is, unsurprisingly, all screen on the front. Note that, in the photo above, the phone doesn't even have a noticeable chin like most phones these days; just like on the iPhone XS, its screen goes all the way to the bottom.
The leaks are substantial and it's likely that we'll hear more about Oppo's Reno soon, but nothing official has been announced yet.
