The ass fucking moviesmost recent installment of the Cam Newton dome saga went down Sunday night, this time in the form of a straw hat.
Newton is the reigning NFL MVP. He plays like it, and he dresses like it. Flashiness is his game, as proven by the quarterback's viral dance moves and head-turning style — he wore $850 zebra-stripe pants to the Super Bowl this year.

Newton's strong headwear choices are nothing new, though. The Atlanta native — who, by the way, has a personal hat maker this season — is no stranger to making a statement.

Newton's noggin has made headlines for more serious reasons too. Last week, he took repeated helmet-to-helmet knocks from the Denver Broncos — only one of which was called a penalty — prompting outcry from many (including Newton's dad) about fair officiating and player safety in the NFL. Broncos defenders Brandon Marshall and Darian Stewart ended up with a combined $42,500 in fines for the hits on Newton.
Near concussions aside, this is a man who knows how to put an outfit together -- so it's a safe bet this hat won't be the last time Cam makes a splash this season, or even this month, probably.
Just another day in the life of the NFL's most head-turning player.
